Trail of Tears (Including Pee-Wah Trail) is down in the boot heel of Missouri (Jackson). In school (college) we would go here a lot. I had a wedding down in Cape Girardeau recently, so stopped at the park on the way back. It was chilly and getting dark but
I have a weird thing about watching barges go by and come be a highlight of this park to me. It is HUGE and almost always (been less than 10 times) seems like its empty. Watch what you do here though, the park rangers have got MANY of my friends in trouble here when they were camping.
